Woonwensen veranderen sterk en verschillen steeds meer. Dit gebeurt onder invloed van welvaart, individualisering, verandering van leefstijlen en dergelijke. Eisen worden gesteld aan woningen en leefomgeving. De huidige bouwcultuur is echter nog steeds aanbodgericht te noemen. Voor veel mensen komt dit aanbod te weinig overeen met hun actuele vraag, kwalitatief, kwantitatief of budgettair.
Een belangrijke uitdaging voor onze generatie is nu aan de orde. De kwaliteit van ons leefmilieu en de sociale omgeving is toe aan verbetering. De tijdsgeest is groen, we moeten de sprong maken naar duurzame ontwikkelingen.
Met een mens- en milieuvriendelijke architectuur en een zorgvuldig vormgegeven stadslandschap wil Bewust Wonen Den Bosch (hierna te noemen als BWDB) de belevingswaarde verhogen en de betrokkenheid bevorderen van mensen bij hun omgeving. Het ontwerpen van de eigen woonomgeving vraagt om een goede samenwerking van alle betrokken partijen in fasen van planvorming en realisatie. Dit plan kan gebruikt worden voor zowel stadsuitbreiding als voor renovatie van oude wijken.

US military warns oil output may dip causing massive shortages by 2015

The US military has warned that surplus oil production capacity could disappear within two years and there could be serious shortages by 2015 with a significant economic and political impact. The energy crisis outlined in a Joint Operating Environment report from the US Joint Forces Command, comes as the price of petrol in Britain reaches record levels and the cost of crude is predicted to soon top $100 a barrel.
